Specific vacancies may include both full and part time, continuing and non-continuing positions. Full time School Nurse positions are 7.75 hours per day for 186 days for new employees. In addition, School Nurses receive a yearly stipend up to $1,000 plus a supplemental contract for 10 additional days.

 

Minimum Requirements:  Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certificate as a School Nurse, valid Washington State RN license and current CPR certification.

 

Preferred Requirements: Successful and recent experience as a nurse in a school setting, pediatric experience and student cultural and economic diversity experience.

 

Annual salary listed is for the 2023 - 2024 school year.
