This is a 6.25 hour per day, with benefits, Conditional Paraeducator position at Columbia Elementary School for the 2024-2025 school year only.  Anticipated start date will be as soon as possible.

 

Hours for this position are 8:45 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

 

The successful candidate will provide 1:1 support to a student. Will support teacher and support students with medical needs, behavior, communication, functional and academic skills.

JOB SUMMARY:

Assist the teacher with planning, preparation and delivery of a quality instructional program based upon state standards, district curriculum, and effective instruction for students with diverse learning needs.  Supervise students at recess, in the cafeteria, library, assistance for students riding the bus, and perform crossing guard duties before and after school.  May assist with implementation of special education services for students i.e., IEP goals, medical assistance, physical support and personal care.
