We are seeking quali?ed building administrators for day-to-day substituting including teachers for long-term assignments for the 2024-2025 school year. Hours per day are 8.0.
To be considered, you must be willing to work in-person and must have a valid Washington State P-12 principal endorsement.
The hourly rate of pay for substitute building administrators is $98.00 for lead administrator roles and $90.00 for assistant administrator roles.
These positions are open until ?lled for the 2024-25 school year.
JOB TITLE: SUBSTITUTE BUILDING ADMINISTRATOR
JOB SUMMARY: This position serves as administrative officer of the school, reporting directly to an Executive Director or Principal (if serving in an Assistant Principal position). As the administrator of a school, the position provides educational, instructional, and operational leadership. The administrator is the model of integrity and ethical behavior for staff, students, parents, and key stakeholders. Responsibilities include providing leadership aligned and committed to the District’s 5-year Strategic Plan for the continual improvement of educational programs for all students; a commitment to equity and building a diverse school community; planning, organizing, coordinating, and evaluating programs and services within the school; maintaining positive staff relationships with all stakeholders of the Northshore School District; directing staffing and budgetary decisions, and maintaining commitment to the District’s mission statement.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Provide leadership aligned and committed to the District’s Strategic Plan for the continual improvement of educational programs for all students.
- Demonstrate a commitment to equity and building a diverse community
- Plan, organize, coordinate, and evaluate programs and services within the school
- Maintain positive staff relationships with all stakeholders of the Mukilteo School District
- Direct staffing and budgetary decisions.
- Maintain and submit information/records including student progress.
- Participate in various meetings for the purpose of implementing school initiatives and addressing student needs.
- Implement and comply with District policies and the Code of Professional
- Maintain consistent attendance and conform to regular work hours speci?ed.
- Ful?ll other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

- Valid Washington State P-12 principal endorsement.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Successful and recent experience as building administrator.
